Abstract
The number of international immigrants has increased worldwide. ln addition to Europe and North America. Turkey hosls a significant population of immigrants, lmmigrants benefit Irom the medical services provided by the hosting country. The aim of this study is to review the perceptions and attitudes of nurses against immigrants and the challenges faced by nurses with examples from various nations. ln this paper, studies focused on nursing perceptions, attitudes and chalIenging about immigration are reviewed. Pubmed (MEDLlNE),Wiley Online Library. EBSCOhost databases (between January 2005 and January 2016) were searched with keywords "immigration. nurses. attitudes, behaviors. health care'. Twenty one original articles were retrieved connected with these keywords.
