dc.description.abstractİnsanoğlunun, gelişiminin büyük bir evresini tamamladığı çocukluk dönemi, sosyal yetkinlik davranışının da gelişimi açısından büyük bir öneme sahiptir. Bireylerin günlük yaşamda karşılaştığı sorunların çözümünde, çevresindeki diğer bireyler ile olan ilişkisinde kişilerin sosyal yetkinlik düzeyi ona rehberlik eder. Bu çalışmada, çocuk gelişmi açısından önemli bir sürece denk gelen 5-6 yaş arası çocukların sosyal yetkinlik davranışları incelenecektir. Tezin ele aldığı sorun, 5-6 yaş aralığındaki çocukların bu hızlı gelişim döneminde sosyal yetkinlik davranışlarının nelerle ilişikili olduğunu belirlemektir. Çocuğun sosyal yetkinliklerinin ebeveyn, arkadaş, kardeş ve akran çevresi ile olan ilişkisi kısacası, sosyal yetkinliklerin nelerle anlamlı bir ilişkisi olduğu konusunda veriler elde edilmesi bu tezin amaçları arasında yer almaktadır. Araştırma ilişkisel bir çalışma olup yaş, cinsiyet ve ebeveynlerin sağ olup olmamasına ilişikin “Kişisel Bilgi Formu” ve “Sosyal Yetkinlik ve Davranış Değerlendirme Ölçeği-30” kullanılmıştır. Çalışmaki ölçek ve kişisel bilgi formu İstanbul Başakşehir’deki özel okullarda toplam 204 öğrencinin gelişimi göz önünde bulundurularak öğretmenleri tarafından doldurulmuştur. Veriler SPSS (Statistical Package fort he Social Sciences) programı aracılığıyla analiz edilmiştir. Çalışmadan elde edilen verilerin normal dağılım gösterip göstermediğine bakılmış ve normal dağılım göstermeyen sürekli değişkenlerin iki grup arasındaki farklarını belirlemek adına Mann-Whitney U testi, puanların birbirleriyle olan ilişkisini belirlemek için de Spearman rho korelasyon analizi kullanılmıştır. Böylece 5-6 yaş arasındaki çocukların sosyal yetkinlik davranışları hakkında elde edilen verilerin yorumlanması sağlanmıştır.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe childhood, in which the majority of the development of an individual takes place, has also a critical importance in the development of social competence behaviour. The level of social competence of people guides them in solving the problems they face in everyday life, as well as in their relationship with surrounding individuals. This study will examine the social competence behaviours of children between the ages of 5 and 6, which is an important period in a child's development. This thesis aims to identify the factors associated with social competence behaviours in children in the age range of 5 to 6 years during this rapid development period. Identifying the relationship between a child's social competencies and their parents, friends, siblings and peers, or in short, identifying which factors are significantly associated with social competencies is among the aims of this thesis. This research is a relational study, and "Personal Information Form" and "Social Competency and Behavior Assessment Scale-30" were used for age, sex, and whether parents are alive or not. The personal information form and the assessment scale were filled out by teachers, taking into consideration the development of a total of 204 students studying in private schools at Basaksehir, Istanbul. The collected data were analyzed using the SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) program. The normality of collected data was assessed, the Mann-Whitney U test was used to determine the difference between the two groups of continuous variables without normal distribution, and the Spearman Rho correlation analysis was used to determine the correlation of the scores with each other. With this strategy, interpretation of the data obtained about social competence behaviour of children between the ages of 5 and 6 was provided.en_US
