dc.description.abstract“Mimaride Suyun Tasarım Ögesi Olarak Kullanımı ve Örnekleri Üzerinden İncelenmesi”, başlıklı bu çalışma, Maltepe Üniversitesi, Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsü, Mimarlık Fakültesi, Mimarlık Anabilim Dalı’na yüksek lisans tezi olarak hazırlanmıştır. Bu araştırmada, suyun yaşamsal kaynak özelliğinin yanı sıra farklı bir perspektiften bakılarak mimariye yansıması incelenmiş ve aynı zamanda insanlar üzerindeki etkileri, mimaride kullanımı, peyzaj mimarisinde ve heykel sanatındaki yeri, dış mekân ve iç mekânda suyun kullanım özelliği örnekleri ile araştırılmış, mimari mekânlarda su ögeleri örneklerine yer verilmiştir. Birinci ve ikinci bölümde; doğanın ve yaşamın ana kaynağı olan suyun önemi araştırılmış, araştırmanın amacı, kapsamı ve yöntemi verilmiş, suyun fiziksel dönüşümü ve mimariye yansıyan özellikleriyle iglolar ve Japon tapınağı örnekleri incelenmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde; suyun mimaride kullanımının insanlar üzerindeki etkileri, suyun görsel kullanımı Gestalt Yaklaşımı ile ilişkilendirilmiş ve işitsel özelliği ile insan psikolojisindeki yeri incelenmiştir. Dördüncü bölümde, suyun tasarım ögesi olarak kullanımı; çevre, mekân ve mimarlığın tanımı üzerinden irdelenmiş, suyun tasarımda değişen işlevi tarihsel süreç ve medeniyetler bağlamında incelenmiş, suyun peyzaj mimarlığı ve heykel sanatındaki kullanımı örnekleri ile araştırılmıştır. Beşinci bölümde; mimari bir öge olarak suyun iç ve dış mekânda kullanım özellikleri verilmiş, mimari mekânlarda tasarlanan su ögesine ve farklı ülkelerden örneklere yer verilmiştir.en_US
dc.description.abstractThis study titled “The Use of Water as a Design Element in Architecture and Examination of its Examples”, was prepared as a master's thesis in Maltepe University, Institute of Science and Technology, Faculty of Architecture, Department of Architecture. In this study, the reflection of water to the architecture from a different perspective as well as its vital source characteristics were examined and its effects on human beings, its use in architecture, its place in landscape architecture and sculpture art, the use of water element in outdoor and indoor spaces were investigated with examples. In addition, examples of water element in architectural spaces were included in the research. In the first and second part, the importance of water, which is the main source of nature and life, was investigated and then the purpose, scope and method of the research were given. In the same section, the igloos and Japanese temple samples are examined with their characteristics reflected in the architecture and physical transformation of water. In the third section, effects of water use in architecture have been investigated. In this context, the visual use of water is associated with Gestalt Approach and its auditory properties and its place in human psychology are examined. In the fourth section, the use of water as a design element in architecture has been examined through the definition of environment, space and architecture. The changing function of water in design and its historical process are examined in the context of civilizations, and the use of water in landscape architecture and sculpture art is investigated with examples. Finally, in the fifth chapter, the aspects of these features used in interior and exterior spaces are supported by tables and schemes and examples of water elements designed in architectural spaces in different countries are given.en_US
