Özet
The aim of this study is to evaluate the Hague Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Court Decisions, prepared by the Hague Conference on Private International Law (HCCH) of 2 July 2019. This Agreement is a multilateral international agreement that provides uniform conditions for recognition and enforcement. This study will examine the scope of the Convention and conditions for recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments. It will also give some recommendations in case Turkey shall become a Contracting State. This Convention will be a game changer in the international dispute mechanism, if ratification is adequately widespread, and it seems that the European Union and China will be the first runners for this.
