dc.description.abstractAraştırmanın amacı ilköğretimde görev yapan öğretmenlerin duygusal zekâ düzeyleri ile çatışma yönetimi stratejileri arasındaki ilişkiyi ortaya koymaktır.Araştırmanın evreni 2010-2011 eğitim öğretim yılında İstanbul ili Sultanbeyli ilçesinde bulunan resmi ilköğretim okullarında görev yapan öğretmenlerden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemi ise söz konusu okullarda görev yapan öğretmenlerden rastgele seçilmiş olan 232 öğretmenden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama araçları olarak araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen "Kişisel Bilgi Formu", "Duygusal Zeka Ölçeği" ve "Çatışma Yönetimi Stratejileri Ölçeği" kullanılmıştır.Öğretmenlerin verdiği cevaplar doğrultusunda SPSS 17 programı kullanılarak problem cümlesi içerisinde yer alan değişkenlerin frekans, yüzde değerleri bulunmuş, T Testi, varyans analizi ve korelasyon analizi yapılmıştır. Tüm istatistiksel analizler 0.05 anlamlılık düzeyi esas alınarak yapılmıştır.Araştırmanın sonuçlarına göre, öğretmenlerin duygusal zekâ düzeyleri ile medeni durum, branş, yaş, mezun olunan okul, kıdem, arasında anlamlı ilişki yoktur. Bununla beraber, duygusal zekâ düzeyi ile cinsiyet arasında anlamlı ilişki bulunmuştur.Araştırma verilerinin analizi sonucunda; ilköğretim okulu öğretmenlerinin cinsiyet, mezun olunan okul, kıdem ile çatışma yönetimi stratejileri arasında anlamlı farklılıklar bulunmuştur.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe research aims to study the relationship between emotional intelligence levels and conflict management strategies of the primary school teachers.The scope of the study is comprised of formal primary school teachers in the central districts of Sultanbeyli in the province of İstanbul in 2010-2011 academic year.Then, the sample of the study consists of 232 teachers randomly chosen among the teachers in the schools mentioned. In this study, the "Personal Information Form" that was developed by the researcher, the "Emotional Intelligence Scale" and the "Scale of Conflict Management Strategies" were used as data collection tools.In accordance with the answers given by the teachers, frequency, percent, T Test, variance analysis, correlation analysis and are done by using SPSS 17 statistics analysis program. All the statistical analysis are done by considering 0.05 meaningfulness level.As the conclusion of the research, no significant differences have been detected between "emotional intelligence scores" of teachers and their marital status,branch, age, graduated school, experience. However, significant difference has been found between "emotional intelligence scores" and gender.As a result of the data, analysis, primary school teachers, gender, graduated school, experience, there were significant differences between the conlift management strategies.en_US
