Art, ideology and hegemony

lmagination is without a doubt the source that has the highest vaule of replenishment while providing ultimate freedom for the individual. Art is where a person's relationship with the nature, society and himself materializes through integration with the infini|eness of his imagination. Therefore a work of art has an ideological functionality in addition to its aesthetic functionality; it contains intelIectual phenomena directly or indirectly, lt could, therefore, be argued that art contains ideology. This study aims to focus on how ideology is kansformed.

Bireyin en özgür olduğu ve en çok beslendiği kaynak şüphesiz ki hayal gücüdür. Sanat ise kişinin, doğa, toplum ve kendisiyle olan ilişkisinin hayal gücünün sınırsızlığıyla bütünleşerek vücut bulmuş halidir. Bu nedenle sanat ürünü, estetik ve işlevsellik birlikteliğin yanı sıra, ideolojik bir işlevsellik de içermektedir; doğrudan ya da dolaylı olarak içerisinde düşünsel olguları barındırmaktadır. Dolayısıyla sanat, içerisinde ideoloji barındırmaktadır denilebilir. Bu çalışma, ideoloji olgusunun nasıl değiştiğine odaklanmayı hedeflemektedir.
