dc.description.abstractVoltage regulators provide a constant voltage for a circuit to work. Linear voltage regulators are studied in this chapter. In linear voltage regulators, the transistor is operated in the linear region. Power dissipated in the transistor decreases the efficiency of these type of regulators. Power amplifiers are another important issue that is studied in this chapter. Power amplifiers are the final block in the amplifiers and they provide the required current to drive the load.
