dc.description.abstractSince 1956 to 2012 a total amount ot 132,000 immigrants has got asylum in Denmark, ln 2015 Denmark got 9793 immigrants, in which 8065 of them got asylum. With all the formal requirements and procedures needed in the apply for asylum it takes up to 600 days to get it. Arriving in Denmark. the immigrants are put in asylum centres. These centres are temporary until their case is treated. When the asylum is approved the immigrants have to take part in an integration programme. ln this they get the opportunity lo learn Danish, get an education or a job and be a part of the Danish community.en_US
