Abstract
Bu araştırmanın amacı, 1-3 yaş aralığında çocuğu olan annelerin özyeterlik algıları, kullandıkları sözel etkileşim uygulamaları ve çocuklarının gelişimleri arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini, 1-3 aralığında sağlıklı çocuğa sahip 91 anne oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama araçları olarak Anne Babalık Görevlerinde Öz yeterlik Ölçeği (1-3 Yaş), Annelerin Sözel Etkileşim Uygulamaları ve Çocuk Yetiştirme İnançları Skalası, Ankara Gelişim Tarama Envanteri (AGTE) ve Aile Bilgi Formu kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda annelerin özyeterlik algısı ile kullandıkları sözel etkileşim uygulamaları arasında ilişki saptanmıştır. Annelerin özyeterlik öğretme ve günlük işler alt puanlarının, çocuklarının dil, ince motor ve kaba motor becerileriyle de ilişkili olduğu elde edilen bir başka sonuçtur. Ayrıca annelerin kullandığı sözel etkileşim uygulamaları ile çocuklarının gelişim alanları arasında pozitif yönde ilişki olduğu saptanmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlar alan yazındaki benzer çalışmaların sonuçlarıyla karşılaştırılarak tartışılmıştır.
The aim of the study was to examine the relationships between child development, mothers maternal self efficacy perceptions and verbal interaction practices of mothers with children in 1-3 age range. The sample consisted of 91 mother with healthy children in 1-3 age range. The Self Efficacy for Parenting Tasks Index-Toddler Scale, Survey of Child-Rearing Beliefs and Verbal Interaction Practices of Mothers, Home Environment Questionare and Ankara Screening Inventory and Family Information Forms were used as data collection instruments in this study. According to the results, there was a correlation between maternal self efficacy and verbal interaction practices of mothers. Moreover, there was a correlation between "teaching" and "daily work" self efficacy subscales and children's language, fine and gross motor skills. Additionally positive correlation was found between verbal interaction practices of mothers and children's development areas. Results were discussed in the context of the related literature.
