dc.description.abstractBu çalışmada, bilişsel iyileştirme tedavi programının (rehacom) şizofreni hastalarının bilişsel süreçlerini geliştirip geliştirmediği araştırılmıştır. Bu amaçla İstanbul'daki bir özel psikiyatri kliniğinde şizofreni tanısı almış 18-59 yaş arasındaki 20 (6 kadın, 14 erkek) hastaya, söz konusu iyileştirme programı uygulanmadan önce ve sonra, dikkat ve bellek işlevlerini değerlendiren nöropsikolojik testler (Sözel Bellek Süreçleri Testi ve Wisconsin Kart Eşleme Testi) uygulanmıştır. Uygulama iki hafta boyunca her gün 20'şer dakikalık iki seans hâlinde yürütülmüştür. Bu uygulamanın sonunda, hastaların söz konusu bilişsel testlerdeki ön test ve son test performansları arasında anlamlı bir fark bulunmuştur. Uygulanan bilişsel eğitim programı şizofrenlerin dikkat, konsantrasyon ve dikkatin sürekliliği, hafıza ve öğrenme yeteneği, akıl yürütme, mantıklı düşünme, hızlı ve doğru tepki verme alanlarındaki bilişsel yetilerinde olumlu değişimler sağlamıştır. Bu bulgulara dayanılarak bilişsel iyileştirme programının şizofreni hastalarında bilişsel işlevleri geliştirdiği sonucuna varılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçları aynı zamanda, literatürdeki ilişkili bulgular ve görüşler açısından tartışılmıştır.Anahtar sözcükler: Şizofreni, bilişsel iyileştirme programı, bilişsel işlevler.en_US
dc.description.abstractIn this study, the effectiveness of the cognitive rehabilitation therapy (Rehacom) on patients with schizophrenia is analyzed. Before implementing Rehacom, a neurological test, which measures attention and memory functions (Verbal Memory Assessing Test, and Wisconsin Test Sorting Test), is applied to 20 patients (6 women and 14 men) with schizophrenia between ages of 18 -59 in a private psychiatry clinic.The therapy is applied twice a day in twenty minutes sessions for two weeks and concludes with significant differences between pre and posttest score of the patients. There are positive changes not only in attention, vigilance, and memory, learning and reasoning but also to react quickly and accurately.Based on these findings, it is concluded that cognitive rehabilitation therapy increases the cognitive processes of patients with schizophrenia. These findings are discussed in terms of literature findings and theories.Key Words: Schizophrenia, cognitive rehabilitation program, cognitive processesen_US
