Özet
lmmigration has become one of the recent political issues that attracted a lot of attention by many countries. lmmigrant is defined as a "vulnerable population" that is, a group at an increased risk of poor physical. psychological. and social health outcomes and inadequate health care (Kathryn et,al.2007). Though termed "immigrants". this group includes a largebody of noncitizens, such as foreign students, migrant workers, permanent legal residents, and those without legal documentation (Footracer & Katherine 2009). lmmigrants are present in all countries of the wor|d and the statistics show an increase trend in some countries and a decrease in other countries. lmmigrants has faced several chaIlenges towards providing the appropriate care as well as barriers in many areas such as economical, social and political issues. According to the OmaniNational centre for Statistic and lnformation report (2014), the totaI expatriate population was 1.732.188 (43.7%) of the total population. This abstract addresses some of the health challenges relating to care provision and highlight some of the solutions could be implemented to over the challenges. Access to healthcare is a right for all people around the world. ldentifying the barriers and challenges that can limit the provision of quality care for this special group can be help the policy makers, health sector and the civil society organizations to collectively achieve a better standard of care for the immigrants.
