Özet
Bu araştırmada öğrencilere günlük hayatlarında karşılaştıkları olaylardan bazı örnekler verilerek bu olayları 'ağırlıksız' uzay ortamı için açıklamaları istenmiştir. Araştırmanın örneklemini 2000-2001 öğretim yılında Marmara Üniversitesi Fizik Eğitimi Bölümünün 4. sınıflarında ve Ümraniye Anadolu Lisesinin 9. sınıflarında okuyan toplam 135 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın amacı öğrencilerin 'ağırlıksızlık' kavramını anlayıp anlamadıklarını tespit etmek, kavram oluşumunun lise öğrencilerinden üniversite öğrencilerine kadar gelişimini takip etmek ve öğrencilerde uzaya olan aktüel ilginin seviyesini belirlemektir. Araştırmada 'ağırlıksızlık' kavramıyla ilgili açık uçlu 5 soru sorulmuş; bununla birlikte öğrencilerin uzay konularına olan ilgilerine yönelik 5 sorudan oluşan ilgi testi uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler bilgisayar ortamında değerlendirilmiş, yorumlanmış ve bulunan sonuçlara göre öneriler getirilmiştir.
In this research it is asked students to explain what would happen to some events nearby in their daily life in the 'weihtless' medium. The sample of the research consists of total 135 students fourth grade Physics Education students of Marmara University and first garde students of Umraniye Anadolu High School. The pupose of the study is to determine whether the students can understand the concept of 'weightlessness' how this concept developes from the high school students to the university students and determine their interest about space. 5 open-ended questions about the 'weightlessness' are asked the students together with 5 questions about personal interest. The results are evaluated using computer programs.
