Ameliyathane hemşirelerinin basınç yaralanmalarını önlemeye yönelik bilgi ve tutumlarının belirlenmesi

Özet
Bu araştırma ameliyathane hemşirelerinin basınç yaralanmalarını önlemeye yönelik bilgi ve tutumlarını belirlemek amacıyla Aralık 2022- Şubat 2023 tarihleri arasında Başakşehir Çam ve Sakura Şehir Hastanesi’nde çalışan 208 ameliyathane hemşiresi ile gerçekleştirildi. Veriler “Hemşire Tanıtıcı Bilgi Formu”, “Modifiye Pieper Basınç Yarası Bilgi Testi (MPBYBT)” ve “Basınç Ülserini Önlemeye Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği (BÜÖYTÖ)” ile anket yoluyla online olarak toplandı. Araştırma verileri Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) 25.0 programı kullanılarak analiz edildi. Sürekli değişkenlere ait veriler ortalama ve standart sapma ile, kategorik değişkenlere ait veriler sayı ve yüzde kullanılarak raporlandı. İki gruba sahip bağımsız örneklemler Independent samples t test, en az üç ve üzeri grubu bulunan değişkenlerde tek yönlü varyans analizi kullanıldı. Tek yönlü varyans analizinde varyansların homojen dağılmadığı durumlarda Welch test kullanıldı. Gruplar arasındaki farkın kaynağını belirlemek için post hoc çoklu karşılaştırma testlerinden Scheffe ve Tamhane’s T2 kullanıldı. Sürekli değişkenler arasındaki ilişki Pearson Korelasyon analizi ile değerlendirildi. Ölçek toplamı ve alt boyut güvenirlik analizleri Cronbach’s ? ve KR-20 yöntemi kullanılarak hesaplandı. Ameliyathane hemşirelerinin ölçek toplam puan ortalamalarının 26.63±12.43 olduğu ve hemşirelerin genel olarak bilgi düzeylerinin yetersiz olduğu belirlendi. BÜÖYTÖ ölçek toplam puanının 38.33±5.38 olduğu ve ameliyathane hemşirelerinin basınç yaralanmalarını önlemeye yönelik tutumlarının olumlu ve iyi düzeyde olduğu belirlendi. İki ölçek toplamına bakıldığında, BÜÖYTÖ toplam puanı ile MPBYBT toplam puanı arasında pozitif yönde, orta düzeye yakın istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir ilişki tespit edildi. Hizmet içi eğitimler kapsamında basınç yaralanmasını önlemeye yönelik eğitimlerin verilmesi ve düzenli aralıklarla tekrar edilerek ameliyathane hemşirelerinde basınç yaralanmasının önlenmesine yönelik farkındalığın oluşturulması önerilir.
This research was conducted with 208 operating room nurses working at Başakşehir Çam and Sakura City Hospital between December 2022 and February 2023, in order to determine the knowledge and attitudes of operating room nurses towards preventing pressure injuries. Data were collected online through a survey using the “Nurse Introductory Information Form”, “Modifiye Pieper Pressure Ulcer Knowledge Test (MPPUKT)” and “Attitudes Towards Pressure Ulcer Prevention Instrument (ATPUPI)”. Research data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for Social Scienses (SPSS) 25.0 program. Data for continuous variables were reported using mean and standard deviation and data for categorical variables were reported using numbers and percantages. Independent samples t test was used for independent samples with two groups and one way analysis of variance was used for variables with at least three or more groups. In one way analysis of variance, Welch test was used when the variances were not distributed homogeneously. Scheffe and Tamhane’s T2, post hoc multiple comparison tests were used to determine the source of the difference between the groups. The relationship between continuous variables was evaluated with Pearson Correlation analysis. Scale total and subscale reliability analyzes were calculated using Cronbach’s ? and KR-20 method. It was determined that the operating room nurses’ mean scale total score was 26.63±12.43 and the general knowledge level of the nurses was insufficient. It was determined that the total score of ATTUPI scale was 38.33±5.38 and the attitudes of operating room nurses towards preventing pressure injuries were positive and at a good level. When the total of the two scales was examined, a positive, near medium level, statistically significant relationship was detected between the ATTUPI total score and the MPPUKT total score. It is recommended to provide training to prevent pressure injuries with in the scope of in-service training and to raise awareness about the prevention of pressure injuries in operating room nurses by repeating them at regular intervals.
