Özet
Devastating war and struggle were an inspirational source for the emergence of the revolutionary Lebanese independent film, it caused a gap that filmmakers tended to fill by the representation ot their culture identity. The lack of historic references and associated visuals gave the filmmakers total freedom to develop their personal visual language. My thesis aims to expand the knowledge abouI the Arab experimental cinema to settle the unresolved legacy oI the Lebanese wars and examine all the influences that had an impact on the rise ot the avant-garde video...
