dc.description.abstractÇok değişkenli kültür birikiminin katkıları sonucu, tarımsal düzene geçişle birlikte başlayıp gelişen, konut mimarisinin büyük bir bölümünü ahşap oluşturmaktadır. İnsanların toplumsal davranışları, yeni gereksinimler meydana getirmekte bu da fiziki çevrenin değişimine sebebiyet vermektedir. Kentleşmiş yerleşimlerde kentin modern diye adlandırılan mekânsal birimleri yanında, geçmişin sosyal davranışlarını günümüze aktaran tarihi yapılar da bulunmaktadır. İnsan davranışlarının, o günün mantıksal değerleri ile birleşmesi sonucu meydana gelmiş bu yapılar, aynı fonksiyonu taşıyan grupları içinde yapısal bir konsepte sahiptirler. Parsel kullanımları, plan çözümlemeleri, cephe düzenleri bu ikili ilişkinin neticesinde tasarlanmıştır. Bütün bu özellikleri bünyesinde bulunduran geleneksel konut mimarimizin yoğun olarak bulunduğu tarihi kentsel yerleşimlerde, hızla gelişen şehirleşmeye karşı gereken tepkiyi veremeyen yapıların korunması geleceğe doğru bir şekilde aktarılabilmesi için farklı ölçeklerde belgeleme çalışmaları yapılmalıdır. Bu çalışmada İstanbul’un deniz kenarında olan önemli ilçelerden biri Tuzla Bölgesi’nin günümüzde hala ayakta olan tescilli sivil mimarı yapısı, yapıların durumu, yapım teknikleri, konutların cephe analizleri ve düzenlemeleri ele alınmıştır. “Tuzla Bölgesi, Ahşap Evler ve Korunmaları Üzerine Bir Araştırma” adlı bu tezin giriş bölümünden sonuç bölümüne kadar çalışma alanının ve yakın çevresinin tarihsel süreçte geçirdiği değişimler, bu değişimlerin ahşap mimarisine etkisi, yapıların koruma anlayışına bağlı örneklendirmeler ve bulunduğu çevrenin zaman içindeki fiziki ve sosyolojik değişimi göz önünde bulundurularak mimari olarak değerlendirmeleri yapılmıştır.en_US
dc.description.abstractCultural heritage as a result of the contributions multivariate, starting with the transition to streamline the growing of agricultural, residential architecture, is a large part of the wood.
