dc.description.abstractEthnography studies about socio cultural history of living society or culture which depends on a long research of analyzing and defining human behavior. While researching a society, ethnographer uses ethnographic equipments, including simple pen and paper, tape recorders, cameras, videocassette recorders, high-tech computers, database software, internet search engines and web pages. Ethnographic films appeared by using cameras in ethnographic studies are related with documentary films which try to tell the audience about the people, earth with realistic approach. Today making documentary films with ethnographic content is more common rather than making ethnographic films. Ethnographic film reflects ethnographic understanding. With this study it is explained that ethnographic films in Turkey exists in documentary films. For this purpose three sample documentary films are analyzed.en_US
