dc.description.abstractBu çalışmada, kavramsal değişim metinlerinin öğrencilerin ekoloji konusundaki kavram yanılgılarının giderilmesine olan etkisi araştırılmıştır. Ekoloji konusundaki kavram yanılgılarını belirlemek amacı ile literatürdeki çalışmalar incelenmiş ve öğrencilerle birebir görüşmeler yapılmıştır. Elde edilen veriIer kullanılarak iki aşamalı tanı testi geliştirilerek, deney ve kontroI olarak ikiye ayrılan gruplara uygulanmıştır. Deney grubunda ders, kavramsal değişim metinleri ile işlenirken, kontrol grubunda geleneksel öğretim yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Kavramsal değişim metinlerinde öğrencilerin kavram yanılgıları vurgulanmış ve bu yanılgılarının giderilmesi için bilimsel olarak kabul edilen kavramlar örneklerle desteklenerek verilmiştir. Sonuçlar, kavramsal değişim metinIerinin kullanıldığı öğretim yönteminin öğrencilerin ekoloji konularındaki kavram yanılgılarını gidermede etkiIi bir yol olduğunu göstermiştir.en_US
dc.description.abstractln this study, the effect of conceptual change texts on remediation of students' misconceptions related to ecological concepts was investigated Researches in the literature were reviewed and interviews were conducted with students to obtain information about students misconceptions. The data gathered were used to prepare a two-tier diagnostic test and this test was administered to both experimental and control groups. Experimental group received instruction using conceptual change texts while control group received traditional instruction. ln conceptual change texts students misconceptions were emphasized and scientific conceptions supported by examples were mentioned to eliminate these misconceptions. The results indicated that conceptual change texts were effective on remediation of students misconceptions related to ecological concepts.en_US
