dc.description.abstractThis paper discusses the reasons behind juvenile crime from the viewpoints of 69 male juvenile offenders on the basis of the findings of the research conducted in a detention center in a capital city in 2002. In addition to those reasons, the research aimed to find out their future expectations. The ultimate aim of this qualitative research was to provide realistic, applicable and sustainable suggestions for prevention and protection of children and adolescents both before and after delinquency.en_US
