dc.description.abstractBu araştırmanın amacı, Türkiye’de Eğitim Yönetimi ve Denetimi Alanı’nın tarihsel gelişim seyri ile birlikte şu anki durumunu Türkiye’de çeşitli devlet ve vakıf üniversitelerinde görev yapmakta olan akademisyenlerin değerlendirmeleri ışığında tekrar gözden geçirerek incelemektir. Çalışma, 14.UEYK’da İzmir(Çeşme) ilinde gerçekleştirilen bir kongrede derlenmiştir. Saha çalışması şeklinde yapılan araştırma, her akademisyenden önceden hazırlanmış olan Görüşme Protokolü ile kendilerinin izinleri doğrultusunda yüz yüze görüşme sağlanarak ve ses kaydı alınarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışma için kullanılan görüşme protokolü yarı yapılandırılmış formattadır. Çalışmada yer alan veriler içerik analizine tabi tutulmuştur. Araştırma sonucunda ortaya çıkan sonuçlar, eğitim yönetimi ve denetimi alanının bazı noktalarda sorunlar taşıdığını ve bu sorunların çözüme kavuşturulabilmesi için yapılması gerekenlerin olduğu gerçeğini ortaya koymuştur. Alana yönelik problemler, eğitim yönetimi ve denetimi alanının tarihsel süreci, alanın Türkiye’de bulunduğu nokta, akademisyenlerin alana yönelik değerlendirmeleri ve alanı geliştirmeye dönük yapılması gerekenler şeklindedir.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study is to review the historical development and the current situation of educational administration and supervision field in Turkey from the perspectives of academics who are based at the state and foundation universities in Turkey. The data for the study were collected at the 14th UEYK congress in Çeşme, Izmir. The study was conducted through voice recorded, face-to-face interviews that were conducted after obtaining the permissions of the participants through the interview protocol that was sent beforehand. The semi-structured interviewing format was used for data collection. A content analysis was conducted to analyse the collected data. The findings of the study indicated that educational administration and supervision field has problematic issues in some regards and provided recommendations on how to solve these issues. These problems are related to the historical development process of the educational administration and supervision field, its current state in Turkey, the comments of the academics towards the field, and the actions to be taken to improve the field.en_US
