Özet
This presentation reports the results of a case-study conducted with a blind student, who enrolled in the pre-service teaching program in the EFL department of a university in southeast Turkey. The courses that she is enrolled in are all designed for learners who are not in special need. ln addition those courses do not include differentiated instruction for students with special needs when this student started the intensive English language program, she reported difficulties in her courses.
Bu sunum Türkiye'nin güneydoğusunda yer alan bir üniversitenin ELT bölümüne kayıtlı görme engelli bir öğrenci ile yürütülen bir örnek vaka çalışmasının sonuçlarının raporlamaktadır. Bu öğrencinin kayıtlı olduğu tüm dersler özel ihtiyaçları olmayan öğrencilere göre tasarlanmıştır. Buna ilaveten. bu dersler özel ihtiyaçları oIan öğrencilere farklılaştırılmış bir eğitim de sunmamaktadır. Bu öğrenci yoğun bir biçimde lngilizce dil programına başladığında derslerindeki zorlukları raporlanmıştır...
