dc.description.abstractBu çalışmada klasik kalkınma anlayışının yerini sürdürülebilir kalkınmaya bırakma süreci incelenmiş, bu süreçte yenilenebilir enerji kavramının nasıl ve neden ortaya çıktığı ve sürdürülebilir kalkınmanın gerekliliğine değinilmiştir. Ayrıca Türkiye ve gelişmiş ülkelerin sürdürülebilir kalkınma çalışmaları ve politikaları analiz edilmiştir. Sürdürülebilir kalkınmanın ekonomi, çevre ve sosyal boyutları ele alınmış, ekonomi ve sosyal boyutları yanında özellikle enerji kullanımında ortaya çıkan çevre sorunları üzerinde durulmuştur. Kalkınma sürecinin çevreye ne gibi zararlar verdiği gösterilmiştir. Geçmişten bugüne artan üretim ve tüketim ile birlikte çevresel sorunların geldiği nokta ve bu soruna bir çözüm olarak gösterilen yenilenebilir enerji kaynakları ve yenilenebilir enerji kaynaklarının çeşitleri ve bugün itibarıyla gerek dünyada gerekse Türkiye’de kullanım alanları incelenmiştir. Bununla birlikte diğer ülkelerin ve Türkiye’nin bu konudaki çalışmaları ve planları ile bugün ve gelecekte yenilenebilir enerji kaynaklarının toplam enerji üretimindeki payına ilişkin mevcut durum ve gelecek tahminleri verilmiştir. Bu bilgiler ışığında, gerek ekonomik ve sosyal gerekse çevresel boyutlarıyla sürdürülebilir bir kalkınmanın sağlanmasında, enerji kullanımı alanında yenilenebilir enerji kaynaklarının gecikilmeden devreye sokulması gereği ortaya konulmuştur.en_US
dc.description.abstractIn this study, the process of classic development conception’s giving way to the sustainable development has been examined and how and why the concept of renewable energy emerged in this process have been analyzed. The necessity of sustainable energy has been set forth. The sustainable development activites and policies of Turkey and developed countries have been analyzed. The economic, environmental and social aspects of sustainable development have been dealt with and along with economic and social aspects, the environmental problems which emerge in energy use have been especially emphasized. The damages brought on by the development process on the environments have been demonstrated. The point environmental problems arrived with the ever-increasing production and consumption and the renewable energy resources which are cited as a solution to these problems have been examined. The types of renewable energy resources and their areas of use both worldwide and in Turkey as of today have been examined. The activities and plans of other countries and Turkey on this issue and the current situation and projections on the share of renewable energy resources in the total energy production today and in the future have been presented. In the light of this information, the necessity that renewable energy resources must be put into operation without delay in the field of energy use for the provision of sustainable development in both economic and social and environmental aspects has been established.en_US
