Human rights in South Asia is a dauting topic to cover in the space of half an hour, given the flagrant violations of human rights in the teeming democracies of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, not to mention Afghanistan, Bhutan and the Maldives.
