Özet
Teknolojinin gelişmesi insanlığı dijitalleşme adı verilen yeni bir sürece götürmüştür. Yeni bir iletişim ve medya mecrası olan internetin, sağladığı olanaklar ile birlikte dijital dünya, bir pazarlama ve tüketim aracı haline gelmiştir. Dijitalleşen satış ve pazarlama yöntemlerinden en çok etkilenen sektörlerden biri, müzik endüstrisi olmuştur. Müzik endüstrisinde pazarlanan ürün olan müzik eseri bütünüyle dijital ortama aktarılabildiği için endüstri büyük bir dönüşüm yaşamıştır. Bu sayede kolayca çoğaltılabilen, depolanabilen ve paylaşılabilen bir şekle dönüşen müzik eserleri, yasal olmayan bu paylaşımlar yüzünden maddi anlamda olmusuz bir dönem geçirmiştir. İnternet ve teknolojinin gelişmeye devam etmesiyle ortaya çıkan streaming teknolojisi, müzik endüstrisini yeni bir sürece yönlendirmiştir. Çeşitli pazarlama stratejileri ile hizmet veren bu streaming servisleri müzik endüstrisini kısa zamanda toparlayarak, çöküşten kurtarmıştır. Bu çalışmada müzik endüstrisinin tarihi değişimi ve dijitalleşme sürecinden ne şekilde etkilendiği irdelenmiştir. Ayrıca dijitalleşme kavramına genel bir bakış ve internet teknolojilerinin evrimi de ele alınmıştır. Çalışma Spotify dijital müzik servisi örneklemi üzerinden bir analiz ve araştırma anketi yapılarak gerçekleşmiştir.
The development of technology has led humanity to a new process called digitalization. The digital world has become a marketing and consumption tool with the opportunities provided by the internet, which is a new medium of communication and media. The music industry has been one of the industries that have been most affected by the digitized sales and marketing methods. As the product, which is marketed in the music industry, can be transferred to digital media completely, the industry has undergone a great transformation. In this way, easily reproduced, stored and shared into a form of music, music, because of illegal sharing has been a material period. Streaming technology, which emerged as the internet and technology continued to evolve, led the music industry to a new process. The music sector has been restructured thanks to the streaming technology that has become widespread in a short time and the services that use this technology and provide music listening services. These streaming services, which serve with various marketing strategies, recovered the music industry from the collapse in a short time. In this study, it is examined how the music industry is affected by the historical change and the process of digitalization. An overview of the concept of digitalization and the evolution of internet technologies are also discussed. The study was carried out through an analysis and research questionnaire on the Spotify digital music service sample in the music industry universe.
