| dc.description.abstract | Kitchen is one of the most important areas of residences. This area is an area where cooking and eating are provided as well as pleasant conversations with friends and also is a communication center of family members and their friends. In order to meet the expectations and needs of the individuals who make kitchen design and kitchen production companies to make decisions and apply these decisions, should have knowledge about, individual's characteristics, behaviors and preferences. In other words, it is necessary to know the individuals, to design the kitchen and make the production according to their demographic characteristics and desires. The aim of this study is to determine the kitchen design preferences according to do demographic characteristics of the individuals. For this purpose, a review of the literature on kitchen and kitchen design was given. The findings of this research which was conducted with the participation of 355 people, included the results and recommendations. | en_US |
