Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı İstanbul ilinde bulunan okul öncesi eğitim kurumlarında etkili liderlik ve örgüt ikliminin incelenmesidir. Bu amaca yönelik yönetici ve öğretmenlerin liderliğe ve örgüt iklimine bakış açılarının belirlenen demografik özeliklerine göre farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığına bakılmıştır. Bu araştırma ilişkisel tarama modelinde nicel bir araştırmadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan “Kişisel Bilgi Formu?, “Etkili Liderlerin Nitelikleri Ölçeği [ELNÖ-R]” ve üçüncü ölçme aracı olarak “Örgütsel İklim Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2021-2022 eğitim-öğretim yılı içerisinde resmi ve özel kurumlarda görev yapmakta olan, uygun örnekleme yoluyla ulaşılan araştırmaya gönüllü olarak katılan 70 okul öncesi öğretmeni ve 30 yönetici oluşturmuştur. Elde edilen verilerin normalliği Kolmogorov-Smirnov testi ile değerlendirilmiştir. Normal dağılım göstermemeleri sebebiyle yapılan karşılaştırma ve ilişki testlerinde Mann Whitney U, Kruskal Wallis ve Spearman Korelasyon testlerinden yararlanılmıştır. Kruskal Wallis H testinde anlamlı farklılık bulunması durumunda gruplar arasındaki farklılıklar incelenirken Post-hoc testleri uygulanarak farklılıklar saptanmıştır. Araştırma sonucuna göre okul öncesi yöneticilerinin etkili liderlik özellikleri ile kurumdaki örgüt iklimi arasında anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Okul yöneticilerinin etkili liderlik nitelikleri kurumdaki örgüt iklimini etkilemektedir. Bu sonuca göre yöneticilere ve öğretmenlere yönelik liderlik, iletişim becerileri, örgüt iklimi, örgüt davranışları, liderlik ve örgüt psikolojisi, yönetim ve organizasyon gibi konuları içeren seminer ve konferanslar ile mesleki ve kişisel gelişimlerinin desteklenmesi önerilerinde bulunulmuştur.
The research aims to examine the effective leadership and organizational climate in pre-school education institutions in Istanbul. For this purpose, it was examined whether the perspectives of administrators and teachers on leadership and organizational climate differences according to the demographic characteristics and the type of institution they work for. The research is quantitative research in a relational survey model. "Personal Information Form", "Qualifications of Effective Leaders Scale [ELNÖ-R]" prepared by the researcher as a data collection tool, and "Organizational Climate Scale" as the third measurement tool was used in the research. The study group of the research consisted of 70 pre-school teachers and 30 administrators, who were working in public and private institutions in the 2021-2022 academic year, who could be reached through appropriate sampling. The normality of the obtained data was evaluated with the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test. Mann Whitney U, Kruskal Wallis and Spearman Correlation tests were used in the comparison and relationship tests because they did not come from a normal distribution. If there is a significant difference in the Kruskal Wallis H test, the differences between the groups were examined and the differences were determined by applying the Post-hoc tests. According to the results of the research, a significant relationship was found between the effective leadership characteristics of preschool administrators and the organizational climate in the institution. Effective leadership qualities of school administrators affect the organizational climate in the institution. According to this result, suggestions were made to support the professional and personal development of administrators and teachers with seminars and conferences covering topics such as leadership, communication skills, organizational climate, organizational behaviours, leadership and organizational psychology, management and organization.
