dc.description.abstractThe cityscape of Athens has several abandoned buildings that cannot be used, renewed or sold by their owners because of the economic crisis. These buildings are squatted and used by different activists as social centers, cafes or sites to provide housing for refugees. Hotel City Plaza Squat is one of these projects that aims to show how it is possible to organize 'a place to live' in the cities together with refugees. ln July 2016, l have participated in a summer course on Visual Anthropology and with a group of three, made a short ethnographic film on City Plaza...en_US
dc.description.abstractAtina'nın şehir manzarasında kullanılamayan, yenilenemeyen veya ekonomik krizden ötürü sahiplerince satılamayan terk edilmiş binalar bulunur. Bu binalar çeşitli aktivistlerce işgal edilip toplumsal merkezler, kafeler ya da sığınmacılara barınak sağlayacak konutlar olarak kullanılmaktadır. City Plaza Oteli İşgali ise şehirlerde sığınmacılarla beraber 'yaşanacak bir yer' kurmanın nasıl da mümkün olduğunu göstermek amacını taşıyan bu projelerden biridir. 2016'nın Temmuz ayında, Görsel Antropoloji üzerine bir yaz okuluna katıldım ve üç kişilik bir grup olarak City Plaza üzerine kısa bir etnografik film çektik...en_US
