Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı kurumsal sosyal sorumluluk (KSS) faaliyetlerinde rol alan ve rol almayan çalışanların KSS anlayışlarındaki yaklaşım farklılıklarını araştırmak ve çalışanların KSS faaliyetleri konusundaki görüşlerini ortaya koymaktır. Bu araştırmanın önemi ise kurumsal sosyal sorumluluk konusunun "çalışanlar" cephesinden ele alınıp kurumların hissedarlarına, kurumların üst yönetim kadrolarına, kurumlarda sosyal sorumluluk departmanları ve sürdürülebilirlik departmanları ile kurumsal iletişim departmanlarında görev yapan yönetim kadrolarına, kurumsal sosyal sorumluluk faaliyetlerinin çalışanlar üzerindeki etkilerini açıklayarak bilgi sunmasıdır. Bu amaçla, Türkiye'nin önde gelen holdinglerinden birinin dört farklı şirketindeki, KSS faaliyetlerine katılan ve katılmayan çalışanlarının, çalıştıkları kurumların KSS faaliyetleri ile ilgili görüşleri incelenmiştir. Bu kapsamda, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden "vaka incelemesi" yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Nitel araştırma yöntemlerinde sıklıkla kullanılan "Görüşme" yoluyla veriler toplanmış, görüşme türü olarak "Görüşme Formu Yaklaşımı" kullanılmıştır. Toplanan veriler içerik ve betimsel analiz ile değerlendirilmiştir. Bu analizleri yaparken NVIVO 8.0 programından yararlanılmıştır. Bu çalışmada "Amaçlı Örneklem Yöntemleri" kapsamındaki "Maksimum Çeşitlilik Örneklemesi" kullanılmıştır. Araştırma yapılan evren dâhilinde, çalışanların ekonomik, yasal, etik, gönüllülük alanlarındaki KSS boyutuna dair iki çalışan grubunun anlayışları karşılaştırıldığında, bu araştırmaya dâhil olan gruplar arasında çok büyük farklılıklar bulunmadığı, iki çalışan grubu arasında KSS uygulamaları ve KSS faaliyetlerine ilişkin anlayışları konusunda az da olsa farklılıklar bulunduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bu anlayış farklılığına gerekçe olarak, KSS faaliyetlerine katılan çalışanların katılmayanlara göre bu konulara ait daha fazla bilgiye sahip olmaları ve uygulamaların içinde daha çok yer almaları nedeniyle bu kavramların bu çalışan grubu üzerinde daha fazla etki oluşturmuş olması gösterilebilir.
The aim of this study is to make a research about the differences in the corporate social responsibility (CSR) approaches of the employees who are involved in these activities and who are not involved in these activities and to present the opinions of the employees regarding the CSR activities. The importance of this study is as follows: The corporate social responsibility concept is approached from the perspective of the "employee" and information is presented to the shareholders, upper management teams, social responsibility departments and the administrative teams working in the sustainability departments and corporate communication departments, by explaining the impact of the corporate social responsibility activities on the employees. With this aim, opinions of the employees who are involved in CSR activities and who are not involved in these activities in four different companies of one of the prominent holdings of Turkey were analyzed. One of the qualitative research methods called "case study" was used within this framework. Data was collected by means of "Interview" method that is frequently used in qualitative research, "Interview Form Approach" was used as the interview method. The collected data was evaluated by content and descriptive analysis. NVIVO 8.0 program was used in making these analyses. In this study, "Maximum Variety Sampling" was used within the scope of "Purposeful Sampling Methods". When the understanding of the two employee groups were compared in terms of CSR in the fields of economy, law, ethics and voluntarism, it was seen that there were not many differences between these groups participated in this research yet some differences between their understanding of CSR practices and CSR activities. This difference in their understanding of CSR can be explained as follows: The employees who were involved in CSR activities have more information and experience about these activities when compared to the ones who weren't, therefore these concepts have made more impact on the ones who were involved.
