This thesis attempted to create a Facebook application game that would allow public high school students to be more engaged with social issues and the news The curriculum of traditional high school social studies is known for its fact-based approach, focusing on names and dates in stead of actual issues. Backed by the New Media Age Theory and the pre-test survey conducted among 47 senior students of Balara High School, the researchers had a prototype of the game created by a computer science organization.
