Özet
Araştırmanın amacı romantik ilişkisi olan 18-45 yaş aralığında İstanbul veya Antalya’da yaşayan bireylerin benlik ayrımlaşması, bilişsel esnekliği ve yakın ilişkilerindeki psikolojik eğilimleri arasındaki ilişkiye bakmaktır. Bu doğrultuda 18-45 yaş aralığında Antalya veya İstanbul’da yaşayan en az 6 aydır devam eden romantik ilişkisi olan bireylere çevrimiçi ortam aracılığıyla ulaşılmıştır. Araştırmaya 361 kişi katılım sağlamıştır. Araştırmada; Demografik Bilgi Formu, Benlik Ayrımlaşması Ölçeği, Bilişsel Esneklik Envanteri ve Çok Boyutlu İlişki Doyum Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonuçlarına göre benlik ayrımlaşması, yakın ilişkilerindeki psikolojik eğilimler, bilişsel esneklik arasındaki ilişkinin pozitif yönde ve anlamlı olduğu bulgusu elde edilmiştir. Bilişsel esneklik ve benlik ayrımlaşması, yakın ilişkilerindeki psikolojik eğilimleri yordadığı bulgusuna ulaşılmıştır. Bulgular ilgili alanyazın temelinde tartışılmıştır.
The aim of the study is to examine the relationship between self-differentiation, cognitive flexibility, and psychological tendencies in close relationships of individuals between the ages of 18-45 who live in Istanbul or Antalya and are in a romantic relationship. In this context, individuals between the ages of 18-45 who live in Antalya or Istanbul and have been in a romantic relationship for at least 6 months were reached online. 361 people participated in the study. Demographic Information Form, Self-Differentiation Scale, Cognitive Flexibility Inventory, and Multidimensional Relationship Satisfaction Scale were used in the study. According to the results of the study, the relationship between self-differentiation, psychological tendencies in close relationships, and cognitive flexibility was found to be positive and significant. It was found that cognitive flexibility and self-differentiation predicted psychological tendencies in close relationships. The findings were discussed on the basis of the relevant literature.
