Özet
The notion of semi-convergence of filters was introduced by Latif (1999) who investigated some characterizations related to semi-open continuous functions. In the spirit of Latif (1999) , Min (2002) used the idea of semi-convergence of filters to introduce a new class of sets, called ? ? open sets, and the notions of ? ? closure, ? ? interior and ? ? continuity and investigated some properties. In this paper, we apply the notion of ? ? open sets in topological spaces to present and study certain properties and characterizations of contra ? ? ? continuity as a new generalization of contra ? continuity [Dontchev, 1996] .
