dc.description.abstract | Oil desalination / dehydration plant is very complex and its operation and troubleshooting knowledge is very difficult. This paper tries to represent a fuzzy troubleshooting method in order to use expert knowledge and handle this complexity of plant. For this purpose firstly, problematic instrument, were identified then according to the manual information fuzzy membership functions were constructed and related fuzzy rules were generated. Subsequently, a fuzzy troubleshooting program which shows the normality degree of each part work was created. This program is able to show the faulty instrument in a plant which could be the root of some fault in other part of the plant. | en_US |
