Effects of hypoxia on Hif-1 protein factors and in the formation of angiogenesis

Cancer cells differ from normal cells in terms of unregulated, rapid and continuous segregation and reproduction. Therefore, cancer cells can create tumor tissue in time where it first occur. As the tumor tissue grows, the amount of oxygen in the tissue starts to decrease. A hypoxic environment started to form in the tissue by lowering the amount of oxygen and this hypoxic eovironment effects the regulation of gene expression.

Kanser hücreleri düzensiz, hızlı ve devamlı bölünmeleri ve çoğalmaları açısından normal hücrelerden farklıdırlar. Bu yüzden kanser hücreleri oluştukları ilk yerde hızlıca bir tümör dokusu oluşturmaya başlarlar. Tümör dokusu oluşup büyüdükçe, zamanla dokudaki oksijen miktarı azalmaya başlar. Oksijen miktarının azalmasıyla tümör dokuda hipoksik bir ortam oluşur ve bu hjpoksik ortam gen ifadesinde değişikliklere neden olur.
