dc.description.abstractTümör rezeksiyonu, travma veya diğer nedenlere bağlı oluşan mandibula defektlerinin rekonstruksiyonu çoğu zaman baş boyun cerrahisi uygulamaları içinde uğraştırıcı bir konu olmuştur. Bu cerrahi uygulamalarda hedef fonksiyonel ve kozmetik açıdan en iyi sonuçları elde etmektir. Kliniğimizde 1998-2003 yılları arasında 12’si tümör, 8’i travma nedenli olmak üzere 20 hastaya mandibula rekonstruksiyonu yapılmıştır. Bu hastaların 6’sında tek başına kemik defekti mevcut iken, 14’ünde yumuşak doku defekti de mevcut idi. Hastalarımızda rekonstruksiyon plağı, otogreft ve allogreft, serbest iliak krest kemik flebi, serbest fibula flebi ve “Kirschner” teli ile rekonstruksiyon uygulanmıştır. Bu çalışmada çeşitli yöntemler ile mandibula rekonstruksiyonu yapılan 20 hastada kozmetik ve fonksiyonel açıdan karşılaştığımız problemler ve bu problemlere yönelik çözüm önerileri sunulmuştur.en_US
dc.description.abstractMandible reconstruction due to tumor, trauma or another etiologic factors are one of the challenging problems in head and neck surgery. The main goals of the reconstruction are to provide best results functionally and cosmetically. Between 1998 and 2003, 20 patients, with 14 have composite oromandibuler defects and 6 have only bone defects underwent mandible reconstruction in our clinic. The reconstructions were performed with reconstruction plate, autografts, allograft, vascularised iliac crest flap, vascularised fibula flap and “Kirschner” wire. In this article the cosmetic and functional problems of 20 patients are discussed and some solution choices are presented..en_US
