dc.description.abstractBu çalışma, over kanseri tanısı alan hastalarda, Sitoredüktif Cerrahi ve Hipertermik İntraperitoniyal Kemoterapi operasyonuna katılan hemşirelerin deneyimlerini değerlendirmek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini, İstanbul Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Hastanesinde çalışan, Sitoredüktif Cerrahi ve Hipertermik İntraperitoniyal Kemoterapi operasyonlarına katılan 30 ameliyathane hemşiresi ve 16 jinekolojik onkoloji servisi hemşiresi oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma yüzyüze derinlemesine görüşme tekniği kullanılarak gerçekleştirilmiş, tanımlayıcı kesitsel nitel bir çalışmadır. Araştırma bulgularında ise hemşirelerin deneyimleri doğrultusunda over kanseri tanısı alan hastalarda Hipertermik İntraperitoniyal Kemoterapi ve Sitoredüktif Cerrahi’ nin güncel bir yaklaşım olduğu, hemşirelik boyutunda mesleki deformasyon, kemoterapik ajana maruz kalma faktörleri ve psikolojik sorunların ele alındığı, hastaların ise yaşamsal kalitesini olumlu ölçüde etkilediği, ameliyat öncesi dönemde farklı hazırlık prosedürlerinin incelendiği, ameliyat sırası dönemde oluşabilecek olası komplikasyonlar doğrultusunda, ameliyat sonrası ve taburculuk döneminin uzun sürebileceği gözlemlenmiştir.en_US
dc.description.abstractThis study was conducted to evaluate the experiences of nurses who participated in Cytoreductive Surgery and Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy in patients diagnosed with ovarian cancer. The sample of the study consists of 30 operating room nurses and 16 gynecological oncology service nurses working at Istanbul University Medical Faculty Hospital and participating in Cytoreductive Surgery and Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy operations. The research is a descriptive cross-sectional qualitative study conducted using face-to-face in-depth interview technique. In the research findings, it was found that Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy and Cytoreductive Surgery is an up-to-date approach in patients diagnosed with ovarian cancer in line with the experience of nurses, occupational deformation, exposure factors to chemotherapeutic agents and psychological problems in the nursing dimension are discussed, and it positively affects the quality of life of patients before surgery. It has been observed that different preparatory procedures were examined in the period and in line with possible complications that may occur during the intraoperative period, the postoperative and discharge period may take longer.en_US
