dc.description.abstractUluslararası ticaret Dünya'daki tüm kaynakların daha etkin bir şekilde kullanılmasına hizmet etmektedir. Küresel dönüşümlerden sonra Dünya ekonomisinin uzun vadeli büyüme trendine girmesinde gittikçe artan bir katkısı bulunmaktadır. Bu süreç ticaretin serbestleştirilmesine taraf olan uygulamaların egemen konuma ulaşmasıyla sonuçlanmıştır. Çalışmanın inceleme konusu olan dış ticaret ve ekonomik kalkınma arasındaki ilişkidir. Bu bağlamda, çalışmanın ilk ikinci bölümünde, küreselleşme olayları tarafından etkilenen dünya ticaretinin tarihsel süreç içerisindeki seyri, coğrafi dağılımı ve dış ticaret üzerinde durulmuştur. Ayrıca, büyüme teorileri özetlenmiştir. Buna ilaveten literatür incelemesiyle son yapılan teorik çalışmalarda konu alınan dış ticaret-ekonomik kalkınma konusu işlenmiştir. Çalışmadan elde edilen sonuçlar, Türkiye için GSYH ile ithalat arasında güçlü bir nedensellik ilişkisi olduğunu göstermektedir.en_US
dc.description.abstractInternational trade serves for the better utilization of the resources of the world. After the global transformation, it has a gradually increasing contribution for the world's economy to reach the long term growth process. At the end of this process, the applications who are in favour of liberalization of trade has become dominant. The object of this study is the relationship between foreign trade and economic growth. In this context, in the first two chapters, the course of world trade under the influence of globalization through historical process, its geographical expansion and foreign trade has been emphasised. Moreover, theories of economic growth has been summarized. Additionally, with an analysis of the literature, the relationship between foreign trade and economic growth which has been the topic of recent theoretical studies, has been investigated. The results of the study indicates that there is a causality relationship between import and GDP for Turkey.en_US
