Özet

The choice of profession is one of the most important moments in human life. There are too many peculiarities of the social environment that influence this process (Spittle. S.. & Spittle, M.,2014). Modern people live in a dynamic social environment. The intellectualization of a great part of the everyday activities leads to disturbances in their psychic and physic unity and this causes a considerable increase in the mobilization of their mentality. ln this environment the nowadays generation has to be educated and prepared for the future. Traditionally the teachers are experts in a definite school subject. They have developed abilities to give suitable information and skills to the pupils. As a matter of fact nowadays their role is quite much more responsible and difficult, The expectations towards them are to create well trained and qualified specialists who will be enough competitive in their future profession. ln the system of active teaching and learning the teacher enters the role of a man who assists the process of learning, making it easier and pleasant. so. the teacher has to be a tutor, moderator, advisor, example to be followed, partner or sometimes a friend. He also can be the person to whom the pupil turns and asks for advice. successful realization as a teacher depends first of all on the right choice of this profession. Materials, Methods and Data Analysis procedures Purpose of our study was to find out the specific features of the close social environment family, school, friends, etc,) for the choice of the teacher's profession. Object of the study were 76 bachelors (19-28-years-old) of the Teacher's faculty. Males were 63, 2% (n=48) and females were 36, 8% [n=28], A questionnaire with enlisted 10 questions in it was carried out. conclusions and Recommendations 1) The students who chose the profession "Teacher" have the support of their families. Predominantly their parents are also teachers. 2) Positive also is the influence of their former teachers in Primary and Secondary school. 3) ln their choice they have the emotional support of their friends and the inner conviction for right choice, Our recommendation is for society to work for the training of successful teachers on all levels and institutions.
