dc.description.abstractFen ve teknoloji alanındaki hızlı gelişmelerin günlük yaşantımız üzerinde çok önemli etkileri vardır. Bilgi ve teknoloji etkileşimi düşünüldüğünde fen öğretmeninin yeni bin yıldaki rollerinin yeniden gözden geçirilmesi gerekmektedir. Diğer bir deyişIe, fen eğitimcilerinin hızlı teknolojik gelişmelerle. giderek karmaşıklaşan eğitim yaşamına uyum sağlayabilmeleri için çağdaş bilgi, beceri ve tutumlarla donatılması gerekmektedir. Bu ise eğitimcilerin fen ve teknolojik gelişmelerin öngördüğü yeterlilikIeri kazanacakları bir eğilimden geçirilmesiyle mümkün olacaktır. Son yıllarda yapılan bilimsel çalışmalarda ülkemizde görev yapmakta olan öğretmenlerin bilgi teknolojileri yeterlilikleri konusunda bir nitelik araştırmasının yapılamadığı sonucu ortaya çıkmaktadır. Bu açıdan bakıldığında fen bilgisi öğretmenlerinin dijital çağın gereksinimlerine uygun bilgi ve becerilerle donatılmış derslerinde yeni öğretim stratejilerini araştıran ve uygulayan bilgi teknolojilerini yeri ve zamanına göre eğitime entegre edebilen bireyler olmaları gerekliIiği sonucu ortaya çıkmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, yukarıdaki düşüncelerden hareketle fen bilgisi öğretmenlerinin bilgi teknolojileri açısından yeni rolleri tartışılmış ve aynı zamanda fen eğitimine yönelik teknolojik bilişsel araçlar tanıtılmış ve fen eğitimine yönelik örnek uygulamalara yer verilmiştir.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe recent developments in science and technology have had great impacts in our daily lives. It is necessary to revise the roles of the science teachers in this new millenium regarding the interaction between knowledge and technology. In other words science educators should be equipped with up to date knowledge skills and attitudes to adapt themselves to the education field which is getting more intrigue gradually with the fast technological developments. This is only possible for the educators to undergo the training where they can acquire the supposed skills of the technological developments. It can be said that the research of quality has not been conducted on their efficiency in information technology of the teachers who have been working in our country. In the recent scientific studies it is corollary that the science teachers should have proper knowledge and skills search and implement the new teaching strategies in their courses and know how to integrate information technologies in the right time and right places. In this work, drawing upon the afore mentioned toughts the roles of science teachers according to information technologies have been discussed and at the same time technological cognitive tools for science education have been introduced and model practice in science education has been included.en_US
