Özet
Atasözleri, bir toplumda uzun zamanda deneyimlerle varılmış, genellikle öğüt veren yargılardır. Bu yargılarda ifade edilen düşünceler toplumun çoğunluğu tarafından benimsenmiştir. Deyimler ise söylenmek isteneni daha etkileyici bir anlatımla söylemek için kullanılır. Atasözü ve deyimler dilin önemli unsurlarından biridir. Bir toplumun kültürünü, yaşam tarzını, insan ve değer anlayışını yansıtırlar. Her toplumun kendine özgü deyimleri ve atasözleri vardır. Bunlara bakılarak bir toplumun yaşam tarzı, insan ve değer anlayışı hakkında fikir edinmek mümkündür. Atasözleri ve deyimlere yansıttıkları insan ve değer anlayışı açısından bakıldığında, insan haklarına ters düşen ifadelere rastlanmaktadır. Bu çalışmada Türkçe atasözü ve deyimler insan ve değer anlayışıyla ilgisinde ele alınmış; bunlar arasında insan haklarına ters düşen bazı örnekler üzerinde durulmuştur.
Proverbs are judgements formulated after long time experience, which generally give advice to the members of a certain community. The ideas expressed in these judgements have been accepted by the majority of the society. Idioms on the other hand, are used to express opinions in a more impressive way. Proverbs and idioms are among the most important elements of a language. They reflect a society's culture , lifestyle and conception of the human being and of value(s). Every society has its own proverbs and idioms. By means of examining them it is possible to get an idea about a society's lifestyle, the conception of the human being and of value(s). When we consider the proverbs and idioms of a society from the viewpoint of the conception of the human being and of the values that they reflect, we see that some of them include opinions that are incompatible with human rights. This study focuses on Turkish proverbs and idioms in conneetion with the conceptions of the human being and human value(s) underlying them, and gives a number of examples that are clearly incompatible with human rights.
