Abstract
Ticaret, kâr amacı elde etmek için yapılan alım-satım etkinliğidir. İlk olarak takas yöntemi kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Ticaret zamanla gelişerek değişime uğramıştır, ülkeler ve sınırları oluşmuştur. Bu durum uluslararası ticaret kavramını literatüre kazandırmıştır. Günümüzde uluslararası ticaret kavramı daha etkin bir şekilde kullanılmaktadır. Küresel anlamda ülkeleri birbirine bağlamış ve ülkeler arasında kültürel, ekonomik ve siyasal alanlarda iş birliği sağlamıştır. Uluslararası ticarette lojistik çeşitli taşıma modları aracılığı ile yapılmaktadır. Dört çeşit ana taşımacılık modu bulunmaktadır; havayolu, karayolu, denizyolu, demiryolu. Türkiye ile İngiltere arasında yüz yıllar boyunca süre gelen ticari anlaşmalar ve iş birlikleri bulunmaktadır. Aynı kıta üzerinde bulunmaları aralarındaki ticari ve politik bağı güçlendirmiştir. İki ülkenin de sınırları denizlerle çevrilidir. Coğrafi açıdan Türkiye yarımada, İngiltere ise ada konumuna sahiptir. Bu durum denizyolu taşımacılık modunu ön plana çıkarmaktadır. Günümüzde pek çok ticari ortaklık ve iş birliği içerisinde bulunan iki ülke, teknolojinin gelişmesiyle beraber ulaşım altyapılarını geliştirmiştir. Altyapı yatırımları ile lojistik alanında aralarındaki bağı kuvvetlendirmişlerdir.
Trading is the buying and selling activity for the purpose of profit. It was first made using the barter method. Trade has evolved over time. Countries and their borders are formed. This situation brought the concept of international trade to the literature. Today, the concept of international trade is used more effectively. It has connected countries in a global sense and provided cooperation between countries in cultural, economic and political fields. Logistics in international trade is carried out through various modes of transport. There are four main modes of transport; airway, roadway, seaway, railway. There have been commercial agreements and cooperation between Turkey and the UK for hundreds of years. Being on the same continent strengthened the commercial and political ties between them. The borders of both countries are surrounded by seas. Geographically, Turkey is a peninsula and England is an island. This situation brings the seaway transport mode to the fore. Today, the two countries, which are in many commercial partnerships and cooperation, have developed their transportation infrastructures with the development of technology. They strengthened the bond between them in the field of infrastructure investments and logistics.
