dc.description.abstractThe main purpose of this paper is to clarify the sources of discrimination from philosophical view-point. The major roots of discrimination, as a human world problem, are based on essentialist approach according to which everything, i.e. every human situation, has an essence that does not change. In this case, we can say that every human being has also an essence in order to become a human being. This essence determines everything concerning the human world such as the beliefs, opinions, thoughts, attitudes, traditions and so on. We usually face with problems arising from this view mentioned above. To exemplify, discrimination appearing in different forms is one of them and attracts our attention as a member of mankind or philosopher. Therefore, another mission of this paper is to discuss how philosophy has to analyse and then produce some solutions for the elimination of all forms of discrimination by means of the other types of knowledge.en_US
dc.description.abstractBu makalenin asıl amacı ayırımcılığın kaynaklarını felsefe açısından aydınlatmaktır. Bir insan sorunu olarak ayırımcılığın kökleri özcü yaklaşıma dayanmaktadır; bu yaklaşıma göre, her şeyin, örneğin her insansal durumun, değişmeyen bir özü vardır. Bu durumda, her insanın insan olabilmek için bir özünün olduğunu söyleyebiliriz. Bu öz, insan dünyasıyla ilgili her şeyi, inançları, kanıları, düşünceleri, tutumları, gelenekleri vb. belirler. Genellikle yukarıda sözü edilen bu görüşten kaynaklanan sorunlarla karşılaşmaktayız. Örnekleyecek olursak, çeşidi biçimler altında ortaya çıkan ayırımcılık bunlardan biridir ve insanlığın bir üyesi ya da filozof olarak, ayırımcılık bizim dikkatimizi çekmektedir. O halde, bu makalenin başka bir ödevi de felsefenin bu konuyu nasıl çözümlediğini ve başka bilgi türleri aracılığıyla, ayırımcılığın bütün biçimlerinden kurtulabilmek üzere kimi çözüm yollarını nasıl ürettiğini tartışmaktır.en_US
