Özet
Bu tez çalışması, TÜBİTAK tarafından geliştirilen ARBİS sistemine kayıtlı araştırmacıların, veri madenciliği ve sosyal ağ analizi yöntemleri kullanılarak birbirlerine olan benzerliklerinin tespit edilmesini amaçlamaktadır. ARBİS sistemine kayıtlı bir araştırmacı, ARBİS üzerinden sorgulama servisini kullanarak bir faaliyet alanındaki diğer araştırmacıların bilgilerine ulaşabilmektedir. Ancak sorgulama, faaliyet alanlarında yapılabildiği için, sadece sorgulanan alanda yüzlerce kişinin bilgisi verilmektedir. Verilen bu bilgilerden, bir araştırmacının diğer bir araştırmacı ile olan yakınlığı tespit edilememektedir. Tez kapsamında geliştirilen bu çalışma ile, bir araştırmacının ismi sisteme girilip arama yapıldığında, ilgili kişiye yakın otuz araştırmacının sonucu gösterilmektedir. Bu sayede araştırmacı kimlerin kendisine daha yakın olduğunu yakınlık derecesine göre görsel olarak görerek kendisine benzer kişiler ile bağlantı sağlayabilmektedir. Bu sayede ARBİS sistemine kayıtlı araştırmacıların sosyal ağı çıkartılmıştır.
This graduate thesis aims to determine the similarity of researchers to each other who registered to ARBIS system developed by TUBITAK using data mining and social network analysis. Researcher registered on ARBIS system, is able to query information of the other researchers working on any activity by using ARBIS system. However, as the query can be made only for areas of activity, the information of the hundreds people is given. The releation of researchers in the system can not be determined with this provided information. As a part of this study, once the name of a researcher is searched in the system, thirty researchers who are relevant with related person are shown. Researcher visually sees the relatives who are close to him/her and could provide connections with those people. Social network of registered researchers to ARBIS has been created by that way.
