Özet
Bu araştırma; lise öğrenimi görmekte ergenlerin ebeveynlerine bağlanma örüntüleri ile atılganlık düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkiyi sınamak amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Ayrıca katılımcıların atılganlıkları ve anneye ve babaya bağlanma örüntüleri; cinsiyet, yaş, sınıf düzeyi, anne eğitim düzeyi, baba eğitim düzeyi, kardeş sayısı, doğum sırası, algılanan ekonomik düzey değişkenleri açısından incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın örneklemini, 2008-2009 öğretim yılı; Kocaeli İli, Darıca İlçesindeki Ülkü Yalçın Anadolu Lisesi, Darıca Lisesi, Ahmet Kulaksızoğlu Ticaret Meslek Lisesi'ne devam eden; 463'ü kız, 319'u erkek toplam 782 lise öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada ergenlerin atılganlık düzeylerini Rathus Atılganlık Envanteri (Voltan, 1980), Ebeveyne bağlanma örüntülerine ilişkin veriler ?Ebeveyne Bağlanma Envanteri (Armsten ve Greenberg, 1987) ile toplanmıştır. Ergenlerin cinsiyet, yaş, sınıf düzeyi, kardeş sayısı, doğum sırası, anne eğitim düzeyi, baba eğitim düzeyi, algılanan ekonomik düzey değişkenleri için, araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan Kişisel Bilgi Formu kullanılmıştır. Örneklemi oluşturan ergenlerin Rathus Atılganlık Envanteri puanları ile Ebeveyne (Anne) Bağlanma Ölçeği puanları arasında anlamlı bir ilişki bulunup bulunmadığını belirlemek amacıyla yapılan Pearson analizi sonucunda; Rathus Atılganlık Envanteri puanları ile anneye bağlanma puanları arasında pozitif yönde anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu saptanmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen sonuçlar, ergenlerin atılganlık düzeyleri ile Ebeveyne (Baba- Anne) Bağlanma düzeyleri arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olduğunu göstermiştir. Atılganlık Envanteri toplam puanları ile anneye ve babaya bağlanma toplam puanları arasında pozitif yönde anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu saptanmıştır. Rathus Atılganlık Envanteri toplam puanlarının sınıf düzeyi değişkenine göre anlamlı bir farklılık gösterdiği görülmüş, söz konusu farklılığın 9. sınıf öğrencileri ile 11. Sınıf öğrencileri arasında 11. sınıf öğrencileri lehine gerçekleştiği görülmüştür. Yani 11. sınıf öğrencilerinin 9. sınıf öğrencilerinden anlamlı düzeyde yüksek atılganlığa sahip olduğu saptanmıştır. Rathus Atılganlık Envanteri toplam puanlarının algılanan ekonomik düzey değişkenine göre anlamlı bir farklılık gösterdiği bulunmuş, orta halli gelir grubunda bulunanlar ile ortanın üstü/zengin gelir grubunda bulunanların, ortanın altı/dar gelir grubunda bulunanlardan önemli ölçüde yüksek atılganlığa sahip olduğu saptanmıştır.
The main purpose of the present study is to investigate the relationship between parental attachment patterns of adolescents and their assertiveness degree. It was also aimed to asses the predictive power of the demographic variables, including gender, age, class, education level of mother, education level of father, number of sisters and brothers, birth range and perceived economic status, on parental attachment patterns and assertiveness. The sample of the present study consisted of 782 adolescents (463 girls, 319 boys) going to high school, namely Ülkü Yalçın Anadolu Lisesi, Darıca Lisesi, Ahmet Kulaksızoğlu Ticaret Meslek Lisesi in Darıca, Kocaeli. The data of assertiveness was gathered administering Rathus Assertivenes Inventory (Voltan, 1980); whereas data of parental attachment patterns was gathered through The Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment (Armsten ve Greenberg, 1987). Participants also reported on the Personal Information Form which was developed by the researcher to gather information about gender, age, class, education level of mother, education level of father, number of sisters and brothers, birth range and perceived economic status. According to the results of Pearson Product Moment Correlation Analysis, positive significant relationship between the scores of Rathus Assertiveness Inventory and The Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment (Mother Form) scores was found. Additionally, positive significant relationship between the scores of Rathus Assertiveness Inventory and The Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment (Parent Attachment Form) was found. Another result was the significant difference of total scores of Rathus Assertiveness Inventory according to the class levels. Assertiveness scores of the 11th class students were significant higher than the scores of 9th class students. There was a significant difference between the assertiveness scores of students from different perceived economic status. Assertiveness scores of middle income students were significant higher than the other two groups (low income, high income). There was not a significant difference between the assertiveness scores according to gender, age, education level of mother, education level of father, number of sisters and brothers and birth range. There was a significant difference between The Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment - Mother Form scores of students from middle income and the other groups. On the other hand, there was not a significant difference between The Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment - Mother Form scores according to gender, age, education level of mother, number of sisters and brothers and birth range. The total scores of The Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment - Father Form scores showed a significant difference according to age. Scores of age younger than 15 were significantly higher than the scores of age 17 and age older than 18. Moreover, the total scores of The Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment - Father Form scores showed a significant difference according to the class levels. The scores of 9th class were significantly higher than the scores of 10th and 11th class. The total scores of The Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment - Father Form scores showed a significant difference according to perceived economic level. Scores of middle income group were significantly higher than low income group scores; scores of high income group were significantly higher than low income group scores.
