| dc.description.abstract | Although drugs are not produced in lran. lran has extensive boarders with countries like Afghanistan and Pakistan that produce 80% of the world's opium supply. For more than a decade, lran has been fighting an effective war against the drugs smugglers. And in the last 20 years, some 3,000 police officers have died in the fight against trafficking.
