dc.description.abstractKişisel verilerin korunması hakkı bağımsız bir temel hak niteliğini taşımaktadır. Temel hak olarak değerlendirilmeden önce özel hayatın gizliliği hakkı kapsamı altında yorumlanmaktadır. Teknolojinin gelişmesi, internetin sınırının olmaması gibi sebepler ile kişisel veriler ulusal ve uluslararası alanda birçok farklı şekilde işlenmektedir. Dolayısıyla kişisel verilerin korunması hakkının ihlal edilmemesi için ulusal ve uluslararası mevzuatlarda koruma yollarını düzenleme ihtiyacı duyulmuştur. Kişisel verilerin korunması hakkı uluslararası mevzuatta çok uzun yıllardan beri yer almasına rağmen Türkiye?de 6698 sayılı Kişisel Verilerin Korunması Kanunu?nun birtakım ihtiyaçları karşılamaması sebebiyle uygulamada bu hakkın korunmasına ilişkin bazı sorunlarla karşılaşılmaktadır. Çalışmada bu sorunlardan başlıcalarına 6698 sayılı Kanun ve Avrupa Birliği uygulamaları karşılaştırmalı olarak yer verilmiştir.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe right of protection of personal data, which constitutes an independent fundamental right, shall be interpreted under the scope of the right to privacy in private life. Due to the developments of technology and the limitless possibilities of such, personal data has been processing through various national and international fields. Therefore, in order not to violate the right of protection of personal data, the need to regulate the ways of protection in both national and international legislation has become compulsory. Although the right of protection of personal data has been taken its place in the international legislation for many years, the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 entered into force and Turkish Data Protection Authority was established a little while ago. There, hereby, have been some problems regarding the practice of the right of protection of personal data. In this study, the main problems will be indicated in comparison with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 and the practices of European Union.en_US
