Özet
Bu çalışmada Arjantin tango müziğinde önde gelen orkestraların orkestrasyon stilleri incelenmiştir. Bu doğrultuda öncelikle Arjantin tangosunda kullanılan temel müzikal ögeler ve karakteristik ögeler ortaya konmuş, tipik tango orkestrasında kullanılan çalgılar, bu çalgıların –varsa– tangoya özgü icra teknikleri ve orkestra içerisindeki kullanımları incelenmiştir. Ardından, farklı stilleri ile birbirinden ayrışan ve tango müzik tarihinin en önde gelen orkestralarından olan D'Arienzo, Di Sarli, Troilo ve Pugliese orkestralarının orkestrasyon analizleri yapılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular üzerinden Tierra Querida tangosunun dört farklı stilde orkestrasyonu yapılmış ve sonuçlar uzman görüşleri ile değerlendirilmiştir.
In this study, the orchestration styles of leading orchestras in Argentine tango music were examined. Thus, the musical features and characteristic elements used in Argentine tango are introduced. Instruments, specific playing techniques used in tango of these instruments and also instrumentation and orchestration for the typical tango orchestra are revealed. Then, the orchestration styles of the leading orchestras in tango history –D'Arienzo, Di Sarli, Troilo and Pugliese– have been analysed. Based on the outputs, the tango Tierra Querida has been orchestrated in four different styles and the results were evaluated with expert opinions.
