Özet
Bu araştırmanın konusu, Türkiye'deki gelir dağılımı eşitsizliği ve yoksulluk olgusunu sosyal hizmet perspektifinden incelemektir. Araştırmanın problemi, Türkiye'de gelir eşitsizliğinin artan bir eğilim göstermesi ve bunun yoksulluk üzerindeki etkilerinin nasıl şekillendiğidir. TÜÎK tarafından 2014-2023 yılları arasında sunulan gelir dağılımı ve yoksulluk verileri temel alınarak, Türkiye'deki yoksulluğun boyutları incelenmiştir. Araştırma, 2014-2023 yılları arasında sunulan verilerle sınırlı tutulmuş ve sadece Türkiye'nin gelir eşitsizliği ile ilgili verilere odaklanmıştır. Bu sınırlama, çalışmanın sosyal hizmet perspektifinden Türkiye'deki yoksulluğun son dönemdeki boyutuna odaklanarak, gelir eşitsizliğinin sosyal adalet ve eşitlik üzerindeki etkilerini derinlemesine incelemesine olanak tanımaktadır. Bu araştırmaya gerek duyulmasının nedeni, Türkiye'deki artan gelir eşitsizliği ve bunun yoksulluk üzerindeki olumsuz etkileridir. Araştırmanın amacı, 2014-2023 yılları arasında Türkiye'deki gelir dağılımı ve yoksulluk verilerini inceleyerek bu durumun toplumsal refah üzerindeki etkilerini değerlendirmektir. Çalışma, yoksulluğun nedenlerini sosyal hizmet perspektifinden ele alarak, bu alanda etkili sosyal politika önerileri geliştirmeyi hedeflemektedir. Kapsam olarak TÜÎK verilerine dayanan bu araştırma, yoksullukla mücadelede sosyal hizmetin rolünü mikro, mezzo ve makro düzeyde incelemektedir. Bu bağlamda, araştırma toplumsal adalet ve eşitliği sağlama açısından önem taşımaktadır.
The focus of this research is to examine the phenomenon of income inequality and poverty in Turkey from a social work perspective. The research problem is centered on the increasing trend of income inequality in Turkey and its shaping effects on poverty. Based on income distribution and poverty data provided by TÜİK (Turkish Statistical Institute) for the years 2014-2023, the dimensions of poverty in Turkey have been analyzed. The study is limited to the data presented between 2014 and 2023 and focuses solely on Turkey's income inequality. This limitation allows the study to deeply explore the impact of income inequality on social justice and equity, focusing on the recent dimensions of poverty in Turkey from a social work perspective. The necessity for this research arises from the increasing income inequality in Turkey and its adverse effects on poverty. The aim of the research is to evaluate the impact of income distribution and poverty on social welfare in Turkey by analyzing the data from 2014 to 2023. The study seeks to develop effective social policy recommendations in this area by addressing the causes of poverty from a social work perspective. In terms of scope, this research, based on TÜİK data, examines the role of social work in combating poverty at the micro, mezzo, and macro levels. In this context, the research holds significance in terms of ensuring social justice and equity.
