dc.description.abstractBu çalışma basının siyasi bir propaganda aracı olarak kullanılmasının ve 27 Mayıs 1960 darbesindeki durumunu incelemektedir. Amaç; 27 Mayıs 1960 darbesinde basının nasıl bir rol oynadığını değerlendirmek bu çalışmanın temelini oluşturmaktadır. 27 Mayıs 1960 darbesi, Cumhuriyet dönemindeki ilk darbe olması, ardından gelen diğer darbelere örneklik teşkil etmesi, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk tarafından 1924 Anayasası ile oluşturulan devlet düzenini değiştirmesi, 1961 Anayasasıyla yeni bir devlet düzeni oluşturması, siyasal iktidarı yeni esaslara bağlaması, yeni yapı ve kurumları sisteme dahil etmesi açısından önemini sürdürmektedir. Yapılan araştırmada literatür taraması olarak nitel yöntem kullanılmıştır. Bu amaçla, ilgili alanda yayınlanmış her türlü kitap, dergi, gazete, makale ve internet ortamında yer alan yayınlara başvurulmuştur. Darbeler konusu geniş bir alanı kapsadığından konu “27 Mayıs 1960 darbesinde basın” başlığıyla sınırlandırılmıştır.en_US
dc.description.abstractThis study examines the press as a political propaganda tool and its success based on the May 27, 1960 coup. The goal of this work is based on assessing the press in the May 27, 1960 coup. It is believed that it is important to deal with the issue in the sense that it is an event that still continues its influence; as it had been the first coup in the Republican era paving ways to the other coups in Turkey. The coup d’etat of May 1960 had also brought about the revision of the 1924 state structure established by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk in the 1961 constitution; and the linking of the use of political power with other new principles. The study aims togive a new insight to the literature and to contribute to other studies to be realized on related field. We use qualitative methodology for our study. For this purpose, all kind of books, magazines, newspapers, articles and publications on the internet related to the area were investigated. As the subject matter covers a wide area, the subject is limited to the scope of the press in the May 27, 1960 coup.en_US
