dc.description.abstractCircumcision is the most common operation performed in male neonates among semitic and Islamic peoples of the world. Culturally, it represents a ritual operation for the male in these religious groups. Worlwide, the medical benefits of circumcision are accepted, and it iş a very commonly performed minor surgical procedure with few complications. The most commony seen complications include hemorrhage, infection, and trauma. In addition, when the literature regarding complications of circumcision is reviewed, rare cases of urethral injury and penile necrosis caused by electrical burn are described. In this paper, two examples presented and the surgical methods of treatment are described.en_US
