dc.description.abstractMetin Sabancı Spastik Çocuklar Merkezine devam eden C.P. (Serebral Palsi)'li çocukların normal kardeşlerin stres alanlarını incelemek ve bulguların istikametinde kendilerine destek olmak amacıyla başlatılan bu araştırmada Serebral Palsi'li kardeşli 50 Çocuk Deney Grubu'nu oluşturmakta, onunla eşleştirilmiş 35 kişilik normal kardeşi olan çocuklar ise Kontrol Grubu'nu oluşturmaktadır. Gruplara uygulanan Kahn stres Alanları Testi sonuçlarının "t" anlamlık bulguları, CP'li kardeşi olan çocukların yıpranmışlığının (duygusal yoğunluğunun) istatistiksel anlamlılığa ulaşacak ölçüde olduğunu göstermektedir. Araştırma bulguları ışığında, bu çocuklara, ailelerine ve gerekirse öğretmenlerine Destekleyici Terapi önerilmektedir.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe major arm of this study is to explore and examine the stress areas of the normal siblings of the children with CP in Metin Sabancı Center for Spastic Children. According to the results of the study, some supporting methods of therapy may be established. As the subject of the research the experimental group of the study consists of 50 normal siblings of CP children (34 females, 16 males). The control group comprises 35 normal siblings of normal children matched equally. Each group, experimental and control, was subjected to Kahn Stress Area Test. The analysis of the results with "C' test has revealed statisticaly meaningful difference among two groups. The siblings of cP children were found to be more stressfull than the normal ones. ln the light of the data gathered through the study, these children should be provided Supported Therapy including their parents, family members and even their teachers is needed.
