| dc.description.abstract | Bu çalışmada, sinema ve mitoloji bağlamında kader temalı filmler irdelenmektedir. Kader kavramına önemli bir yer veren "Truva", "Sliding Doors", "Babil", "Amores Perros" ve "21 Grams" filmleri örneklem olarak seçilmiştir. Seçilen filmler olay örgüsü, karakterler, arketipler, semboller ve diğer dramatik unsurlar açısından çözümlenmektedir. "Truva" filmi, Antik Yunan mitolojisindeki Truva Savaşı'nı merkeze alarak, Tanrılar ve insanlar arasındaki ilişkiyi vurgulamaktadır. "Sliding Doors", kaderin ve tesadüflerin yaşam üzerindeki belirleyiciliğini sorgularken, "Babil" filminde, farklı coğrafyalardan gelen karakterlerin hayatlarının birbirine nasıl bağlı olduğu ve kaderin bu bağlantıları nasıl şekillendirdiği ele alınmaktadır. "Amores Perros" ve "21 Grams" filmleri ise, karmaşık anlatı yapıları ile kaderin, tesadüflerin ve insan seçimlerinin dramatik sonuçlarını ortaya koymaktadır. Çalışma eser odaklı bir tez çalışması olduğu için; kader temasını somutlaştıran bulguların işlendiği, ‘Oyuncunun Kaderi’ adlı özgün bir kısa film yapıtı ortaya konmuştur. | |
| dc.description.abstract | In this study, fate-themed films are examined in the context of cinema and mythology. The films "Troy", "Sliding Doors", "Babylon", "Amores Perros" and "21 Grams", which give an important place to the concept of fate, were selected as examples. Selected films are analyzed in terms of plot, characters, archetypes, symbols and other dramatic elements. The movie "Troy" focuses on the Trojan War in Ancient Greek mythology and emphasizes the relationship between Gods and humans. While "Sliding Doors" questions the decisiveness of fate and coincidences in life, the movie "Babil" examines how the lives of characters from different geographies are interconnected and how fate shapes these connections. The films "Amores Perros" and "21 Grams" reveal the dramatic consequences of fate, coincidences and human choices with their complex narrative structures. Since the study is a artwork-oriented thesis; An original short film called 'The Fate of the Actor' was produced, where the findings that embody the theme of fate are discussed. | |
